Dissection Workshop
"Dissection Workshop“ by Prof. M. Pretterklieber (Austria)
Anatomical dissection forms one of the pillars of undergraduate medical training. It facilitates the learning of spatial-anatomical knowledge and helps students appreciate anatomical variation. Despite ongoing transitions in various universities, the student dissection course remains a crucial teaching tool, supported by extensive research demonstrating its relevance. This Dissection Workshop offers novice educators in anatomy a unique hands-on experience to practice standard techniques used in gross anatomy courses and to critically evaluate the utility of different embalming methods for various educational purposes. No previous dissection experience is required.
