The use of plastinates as a teaching tool has consistently emerged over the last decades. A number of universities overseas and also in Europe have meanwhile included plastinates into their curricula. In this workshop, experienced anatomists will present on their approaches using plastinates in their teaching. Potentials and limitations will be discussed, as well as the utility of the various types of plastinates to complement other modes of teaching.
