Model Maintenance Workshop

"Model Maintenance Workshop“

Teaching models are a universal tool in anatomy education. Models of various sizes and materials are used in self-study, small group teaching, and even in large-scale lectures. Despite the advancements in technology, their fundamental value has remained unchanged for over a century. As a result of their long-term use, these models can age to varying degrees. This Model Maintenance Workshop will focus on strategies for maintaining, cleaning, and repairing different types of models. Additionally, it will provide participants with a guideline for when in-house repairs may not be sufficient and what measures should be taken in such cases. No previous experience is required.
